Niue continues to rebuild from the January 2004 effects of cyclone Heta.

It's looking pretty normal around Niue, or maybe everyone is just getting used to it. The rain forest looks a lot better. Services around the villages are back to being somewhat normal, and the planes and boats are coming in regularly.

The Internet services continue to develop, and the wireless has been installed in most of the outer villages, as well as additional nodes in the Alofi area. See the wifi access page for more details.

And as for the effects of the Cyclone.....well, enough time has gone by now that it's just another collection of stories to tell.
