"The Internet User's Society-Niue is a non-profit corporation registered in the United States of America. We've developed the funding source-model and technical resources for the Internet Users Society Niue project mainly to help promote international communications specifically for the Island of Niue who for whatever reasons did not have the resources or opportunities to "be online" on their own. We hope that the developments that we have made over the past eight years will continue to be a valuable and useful part of Niue's communication world wide we and look forward to continued development as more exciting technologies become available."

"Niue, as far as I know, is the only country in the world with free Internet services. This advancement in technology (online since 1999) represents a lot of hard work to say the very least. In addition to the research, engineering and planning that I've done here in Niue, Bill and his team in the U.S. have devoted thousands of man-hours helping us put all of this together and making it happen. One of the most important aspects of any long term technical project of this proportion is having the availability of vast outside resources for ideas, marketing, and engineering. So, all of these things have come together as a result of some very efficient team-work. The end result is full service Internet access for Niuean residents and the government of Niue. Most recently the wifi networks have really been a major improvement in communications on the Island, and those services are expanding even more this coming year. "

Emani Fakaotimanava-Lui and his Company "RockET Systems" has been a great help to us and provides IUSN with a back-up systems administrator as well. He also runs the Internet cafe at the commercial center in Alofi open 9am-3pm, Monday through Friday. Development of technology services here on Niue has been a long hard struggle and having Emani on board has helped tremendously. We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Emani, and hope that the growth trend in private sector, and technology on Niue will continue.

Stafford Guest, owner of Sails Restaurant, and Company Administrative Services, handles the administrative tasks involved with putting together an infrastructure like the Internet Users Society Niue. He's agreed to spend his time doing the not-so-fun paperwork associated with the development of services and situations here in Niue so that the technical people can concentrate on keeping the systems on-line and moving along. Many thanks to Stafford and his company for "getting things done" on paper so we can keep on developing the communications services in Niue.
